We know that you may not open each email that comes into your inbox, but we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this - and make sure to read through to the end! On Sunday we shared our plans for this space in 2025 (and, of course, our weekly reads).

But, here’s the gist:

Free Subscribers: You’ll get two posts each month with bookish topics: essays, lists, maybe a random podcast episode here and there.

Paid Subscribers, this is where the fun starts:

• You’re getting a slimmed down version of our weekly snapshot every Sunday,

• a monthly podcast episode with everything we read in the month with a deeper dive than you’ve found in our weekly snapshot,

• random special bonuses here and there like books we’re excited about and books we’ve wanted to throw across the room, etc.,

• AND an invite to join us for a quarterly five star book vibes chat on Zoom!

Did you catch that? Our podcast is coming back monthly so that we can share more in depth book reviews about what we’re reading each month! Many of you first found RTL through our podcast and have been begging us to bring it back since we shifted away from that platform.

So, your wish is (mostly) our command. We miss it too, so we tried really hard to find a way to fit it into our lives. But, you’ll have noticed too that it’ll just be for paid subscribers. There are a few reasons that we’re putting the podcast behind a paywall:

• It’s expensive to produce a podcast,

• Support from the podcast helps us keep this space going,

• It’s literally one of the ways that we feed our families,

• We get to be as snarky as we want about books without having to worry about the wider world hearing about it.

In honor of these changes, we’re offering a sale if you upgrade your subscription by the end of the month.

Right now, you can join us and support RTL for just $3/month OR $32.40 for the entire year!! That money that we bring in each month gets split 50/50 down the middle and goes toward everything we mentioned above.
